Niladri comes from the same school as Ravi Shankar and is one of the most celbrated young exponents of North Indian classical Music. He is also a revolutionary in use of Western styles and effects with his electric sitar, the first Indian to take his instrument in to the rock realm for real. It’s a power trio Hindustani style.
