From Buffalo, NY, Pentimento strive to create a sound focused on the raw emotion of the punk scene that birthed them. While staying true to the roots and influences of their upbringing, what sets Pentimento apart is the sheer honesty and authenticity you take away when listening to their music. The band’s goal has always been to create passionate music that they could share with others, and to connect with the listener on a personal level. Inside the Sea is the four-song follow-up to Pentimento’s incredible self-titled debut, which had the pop-punk community buzzing. While that record was about other people, Inside the Sea tackles the inner workings of the self with soaring vocals, rapid-fire drums, and semi-existential lyrics from drummer Mike Hansen.
